All home-rubbed, home-brined and home-smoked, our meat is sourced locally and lovingly prepared and obsessively watched over. Smoking is an art, one which we continually refine and tweak to make sure the flavours are just right for every cut of meat. Setting our alarm to time it to precision, we actually do live, sleep, eat and breathe our smoked meats. From pulled pork, brisket and hams to duck and pulled chicken – anything can be smoked to bring out the best if you have the patience for perfection.

 

Complimenting the meats, our signature sides of  mac’n’cheese and tacos, we combine the best flavours there are to create the best food experience you will have.

WHAT WE DO

We take our food truck across the country to food markets, festivals and events. Come and visit us at one of our regular haunts or give us a call to see how we can help you with your own event whether a wedding, christening, birthday or corporate get together. Our food is our passion, we would like it to be yours too.

 

 

ABOUT US

I grew up on the south coast of Devon and barbeques on the beach were always a big part of things. Whether grilling freshly caught mackerel straight from the sea or just a few sausages and smoky rashers we always ate well. The smell of smouldering coals and smoked food evokes such strong memories and it drives what we’re about at Smoke & Swagger !

 

I’ve been cooking since I left school. After I finished my apprenticeship at a resort hotel in Torquay I moved up to London to further my passion for cooking great quality, great tasting British food. In the newly developing gastro pub scene, I found the freedom to express my fascination for curing, brining, marinating & smoking all things meaty! But these things all taste best grilled over coals and coal-grilled food is always best served outdoors so when I was given the chance to buy our little food van Smoke & Swagger was born!

 

I have two livewire and constantly ravenous little boys at home and bringing them up to understand and appreciate good flavours and good cooking is really important to me. From the moment I decided to take on the challenge of Smoke & Swagger , it became another part of our family. I look forward to sharing our values around food– and most importantly our flavours – with you.
